Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end systems using SQL.
- Administer and optimize MS SQL server databases for performance and scalability.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Implement and maintain API gateway configurations for security and traffic management.
- Integrate APIs with various systems and services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database and API-related issues.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to ensure smooth integration.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and API development.
Requirements:
- Possess a strong foundation in SQL and database querying, essential for building efficient and reliable back-end systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in database administration, with a focus on MS SQL, PostgreSQL, ensuring optimal database performance and management.
- Exhibit proficiency in API development, including RESTful API design and API gateway management, to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration.
