Responsibilities:
- Develop, customise, and maintain the Shopify website using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create responsive, mobile-friendly designs that align with brand identity.
- Manage and monitor overall website performance, ensuring fast load times and uptime.
- Identify and fix bugs, errors, and performance issues promptly.
- Integrate and manage third-party Shopify apps, plugins, and tools (e.g., reviews, loyalty,
analytics). - Configure and manage payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU), shipping integrations (Shiprocket), and COD functionality.
- Optimise website structure, assets, and images for better SEO and speed.
- Implement tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).
- Manage product listings, categories, variants (size, color, visor type), and pricing.
- Regularly update homepage banners, blogs, and promotional content with the marketing team.
- Ensure data security, backups, and version control of all website updates.
- Continuously monitor website health and ensure smooth functionality across all devices.
- Suggest and implement new features or design improvements to enhance user experience and conversions.
- Stay up to date with the latest Shopify trends, apps, and features to keep the website efficient and modern.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Shopify Developer (mandatory).
- Proven experience in building and managing Shopify websites.
- Proficient in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, custom theme development, and app integrations.
- Expertise in website performance optimization and responsive design.
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and shipping systems.
- Strong debugging and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Ability to independently manage, maintain, and enhance the full Shopify ecosystem.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
