Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
- Create custom sections, templates, and dynamic features as per brand requirements.
- Set up complete Shopify stores, including products, collections, menus, apps, and payment gateways.
- Manage store configuration, custom functionalities, and third-party app integrations.
- Implement Shopify Plus features if applicable.
- Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and loading performance.
- Optimise images, code, and layouts to enhance page experience.
- Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and website issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or related field.
- Any experience in Shopify development. (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, Storefront API, and third-party integrations.
- Good understanding of SEO best practices, speed optimisation, and UI/UX.
