Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work with the team to conceptualize video stories and edit raw footage into polished, high-quality content
- Add music, sound design, subtitles, transitions, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling
- Use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva Video, or similar
- Create video templates and visual identity styles to maintain consistency
- Optimize videos for social platforms based on format, algorithm, and trend
- Collaborate closely with the social media and design teams for aligned campaigns
- Manage video libraries, project files, and asset backups
- Utilize AI-powered video tools (like Runway ML, Descript, Pictory, etc.) for efficient and creative content generation
- Suggest fresh video ideas and stay updated with trends in social-first video formats
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in video editing or multimedia production (internships/freelance also welcome)
- Strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills across various formats
- Proficiency with editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or others)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple edits simultaneously
- Eye for detail, visual flow, rhythm, and storytelling
- Experience editing vertical videos, reels, shorts, and long-form interviews
- Openness to feedback and collaboration in a fast-paced setup
- Knowledge of aspect ratios, export settings, audio balancing, and basic color correction
