IT Recruiter

Key responsibilities

  • Client and needs analysis: Work closely with clients to fully understand their specific technical and business requirements for each role.
  • Sourcing and pipeline building: Proactively source, screen, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for various IT roles using diverse channels, including specialist job boards, social media, and professional networking sites like LinkedIn and GitHub.
  • Candidate assessment: Conduct interviews using various methods, such as structured, behavioral, and technical assessments, to evaluate candidates’ skills and experience.
  • Full-cycle recruitment: Manage candidates through the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Market intelligence: Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends, market changes, and salary benchmarks to provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Recruitment strategy: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet hiring needs efficiently and effectively. 

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as an IT or Technical Recruiter, ideally within a consultancy or agency setting.
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Technical expertise, with the ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
  • Excellent sourcing skills, including familiarity with Boolean search and social media recruitment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exp: 2-5 Yrs
  • Salary: Up to 3.6 LPA
  • Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai (WFO)
