Key responsibilities
- Client and needs analysis: Work closely with clients to fully understand their specific technical and business requirements for each role.
- Sourcing and pipeline building: Proactively source, screen, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for various IT roles using diverse channels, including specialist job boards, social media, and professional networking sites like LinkedIn and GitHub.
- Candidate assessment: Conduct interviews using various methods, such as structured, behavioral, and technical assessments, to evaluate candidates’ skills and experience.
- Full-cycle recruitment: Manage candidates through the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both candidates and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Market intelligence: Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends, market changes, and salary benchmarks to provide strategic advice to clients.
- Recruitment strategy: Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet hiring needs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as an IT or Technical Recruiter, ideally within a consultancy or agency setting.
- Hands-on experience with various interview formats and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Technical expertise, with the ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
- Excellent sourcing skills, including familiarity with Boolean search and social media recruitment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
