Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Collaborate with business/domain teams to gather and refine analytical requirements.
- Use SQL to extract, aggregate, join and filter data from relational databases.
- Cleanse, preprocess and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA): identify trends, outliers, correlations, patterns.
- Use statistical software (e.g., SPSS) to perform analysis: regressions, ANOVA, clustering, hypothesis testing, etc.
- Build and maintain dashboards/reports/visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel
- Translate statistical findings into actionable business insights and present these to stakeholders.
- Liaise with data engineering, BI and infrastructure teams to ensure datasets are available and flows are optimal.
- Support ad-hoc queries and deep-dive analyses as needed.
- Monitor KPIs, detect anomalies and alert relevant stakeholders.
- Continuously refine and optimise queries, pipelines and reporting processes.
